Evening everyone, well I survived my son's 11yr old Lego Birthday party. Between the legos I made and the legos I purchase off of craiglist we had way over 1000 legos. Now lego theme is kind of fun, but most of the decor I had to make, because store bought item as my son said "it too babish." So what does mom have to do, but make. So here a photo of some of the legos, I have other photo being sent to me. I have to show the cake later.
Happy Birthday to your 11 year old! great party idea. Is the cake a LEGO too? My grand son loves legos and asks for them birthdays and Christmas.

I don't think I'll ever understand their fascination with Lego's, I remember when they first came out *back in the stone age" Kids just love em.

My son loves legos.Put a blanket on the floor pop in a movie and give him a lego set.(has to be 800pc or more)And he's good for at least 5hrs.
ReplyDeleteThe cake was a sheet cake in his color with lego construction trucks and bricks. I'm trying to get a photo of it and I'll post it.
My son was a Legomaniac from the moment his tiny toddler hands could manage them. Now he's applying to Engineering schools....I think they are great toys!
